THE ACTRESS TIES THE KNOT IN A LOW-KEY CEREMONY
She first sparked rumours she was engaged to boyfriend Jake Holly by posting a photo on Instagram where she appeared to have a ring on that finger. Now it seems Jessica Marais has secretly got hitched.
With the stunning backdrop of the ocean, it is understood the couple chose Red Cliff Beach in Brooms Head, NSW, for their “commitment ceremony” weeks after celebrating their one-year anniversary.
And of course Jess’ daughter, Scout, who she shares with former partner and Home and Away star James Stewart, was by her mummy’s side on the amazing day.
Taking to social media, a beaming Jess posted a sweet snap of her and adorable Scout sharing a tender moment on the special occasion.
Scout, 6, is seen wearing a white ballerina-style dress and a flower crown, holding a beautiful bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath.
Commenting on the series of photos was her photographer beau Jake, who the former Love Child star began dating in 2017.
“Love youuuu,” he gushed.
Meanwhile, Jess’ former Packed to the Rafters co-star Rebecca Gibney also congratulated the happy couple.
“This makes me happy,” she shared.
Last year, Jess opened up about the couple’s blossoming romance for the first time.
“Love and support and like-mindedness and friendship make people’s lives happier,” she said in an interview, referring to Jake, and adding she was open to having more children.
“Oh, who knows? I used to think absolutely not … but you never know.”
Meanwhile, Jake also publicly declared his love for Jess after she bravely decided to not attend last year’s Logie Awards because of mental health issues.
“I am so proud of you,” he captioned a photo on Instagram.
“You have always stood strong in the face of invasive media and turned everything that has come your way into a positive and more.
“I love you babe, keep doing you, you do it so well.”
