THE MOMENT SHE FOUND OUT
With her head in her hands and fighting back the tears, it took all of Jennifer Aniston’s energy not to break down as the heartbroken actress learned the devastating news that she had been dumped once again by Brad Pitt.
The former Friends star has had her hopes of a happyever-after dashed once again after shock reports emerged last week that her former husband – with whom she is recently said to have rekindled her relationship – had unceremoniously dumped her for fellow Hollywood star Charlize Theron, on the eve of Jen’s 50th birthday.
Despite the pair having spent the Christmas holidays hanging out together along with Brad’s six children he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie – and even discussing renewing their vows – Jen has once again had her heart shattered after rumours that Brad grew close to Jen’s pal Charlize while filming a commercial last year.
Sources tell New Idea that the Dumplin’ actress is absolutely broken by the news.
“Jen is devastated and can’t believe that she’s been let down by Brad – again,” says a source.
“She really believed things were going well with Brad, that they were on the same page and working towards a real future together.”
According to the insider, Jen had been spending so much time with Brad’s kids, that the possibility of them starting a family together had seemed increasingly likely and they had even discussed adopting.
It seems Jen really thought things were different with the Benjamin Button star this time around. “But now it turns out it wasn’t real. After months of saying Jen was the one, Brad all of a sudden turned around and said he wasn’t sure and wanted to see other people,” the source continues.
“Next thing you know, he’s spending time with Charlize and Jen is all alone. Again. She just can’t believe she fell for Brad once more – it’s like Angelina all over again, and Jen is so angry at herself for giving him another chance and believing they could be together. She feels like a fool.”
It certainly would appear that history is repeating itself. Despite no official statement from the pair, Brad and South African-born Charlize are reported to have been quietly seeing each other for six months after first meeting on the set of a commercial for Swiss watch company Breitling and quickly hitting it off.
Brad famously became infatuated with Angelina – who he separated from in 2016 following an alleged altercation on a plane – while filming their movie Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004.
A source told The Sun (UK) that Brad and Charlize have “been friends for some time – ironically through Sean [Penn, Charlize’s former partner] – but things have developed.”
According to the source, the couple were spotted enjoying a cosy date at Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont and were “ridiculously touchy-feely” with Brad keeping “his arm around her back”. They added to the publication: “At one point he winked at her. Brad seemed in a really good place – they both looked really happy.”
The following day, when the news broke of Brad’s latest romance, Jen was seen looking quite downcast as she visited a spa in Beverly Hills.
Wearing shades and a bomber jacket, it was clear she didn’t want the public to recognise her.
However, according to other informed sources, all is not lost for the unlucky-in-love star, with insiders telling Life & Style that Jen is keen to put herself back in the dating game.
“Jennifer is keen to start playing the field of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors,” the publication claimed.
“Jen realises that she’s still got it, and the sky is the limit...
