Angelina Jolie has stolen her estranged husband Brad Pitt back from his new love interest Charlize Theron. In amazing picture proof, the former A-list couple were spotted sharing a drink with one another.
Despite being in the midst of finalising their divorce, Angelina can be seen chatting to Brad as he swigs some water. The pair were dressed casually for the catch-up.
This shock meeting comes just days after pictures of Brad and Charlize surfaced.
The news of Brad and Charlize’s relationship had Angelina seeing red and as soon as she heard about the blossoming romance she called Brad for a catch-up.
“The truth is Ange has been wild with jealousy ever since she found out about Brad and Charlize hooking up,” a source reveals to New Idea.
Before Charlize, Brad was rumoured to be back in the arms of his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston but, according to the source, Angelina never really cared about Brad getting back with Jen that much because she thought it made them seem a bit pathetic running back into each other’s arms.
Yet with Charlize, it’s a different story. “Knowing that Brad and Charlize are together and they’re going to be the next big Hollywood power couple is too much for Ange. She knows the sort of power status that being with Brad brought her when they were together
– and knowing that she’s out and Charlize is in has really hit home with Ange.”
The source says Angelina has really started to regret letting Brad go, especially with the damage it’s done to her career and her name in Hollywood.
“She’s barely getting scripts any more – it’s like she’s invisible,” the source spills.
But Angelina’s intentions to win Brad back are in no way romantic.
“So even though she doesn’t really want to get back with Brad, she doesn’t want him with Charlize and so is wooing him back. She knows that Brad is desperate to spend more time with the kids, and she knows that’s her carrot in all this – and if she dangles it enough, Brad will come running back to her,” the insider adds.
Despite reports that Brad saw the children over Christmas, it’s believed that he has rarely spent
quality time with them since the split. He’s at a point where he’ll do anything to see them again.
“Brad couldn’t believe it when Ange called him up last week and invited him over – and he went running.
“Really, he’ll do anything to see his kids more.
“But it’s all part of a sinister plan from Ange. She doesn’t want him with Charlize and is doing anything she can to drive a wedge between them.”
To make matters worse, Angelina has been said to have a long-running feud with Charlize, with the pretty blonde taking many potential movie roles away from her.
A source told Radar that the women have been “feuding for years” and that Angelina purposefully stalled on committing to a Bride of Frankenstein remake just to irk fellow actress Charlize.
Radar said that Angelina was “stringing Theron along, refusing to commit to the project, and denying the star the opportunity to accept other roles as she awaits a decision”.
“Angie hasn’t made a deal with Universal to do their next monster flick, but the offer’s still on the table,” the source claimed. “She could use the $20m pay check. She seems to enjoy sticking it to Charlize, who wanted to do this film and is convinced Angie stepped in to take it off her.”
With her heart in a different place to her husband’s, Ange’s intentions and her plans to reunite for all the wrong reasons are set to break Brad’s heart all over again.
