FERGIE’S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE TO ANDREW
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, took to social media to share two sweet photos of her ex-husband Prince Andrew to celebrate his 59th birthday.
In the first snap she shared on Instagram, a smiling Prince Andrew was shown wearing glasses and a navy cardigan with a striped maroon tie (left). The second shot featured Andrew in military dress, and she captioned the snaps “Happy Birthday Andrew.”
A post like this isn’t unusual for the former couple, who have remained incredibly close since their divorce back in 1996.
In fact, in an interview, Fergie, 59, described them as the “happiest divorced couple in the world.”
The Duke and Duchess of York even shared their marital home for many years after their divorce and successfully raised their two daughters, Princess Beatrice, 30, and Princess Eugenie, 28.
Of course, Fergie isn’t the only royal who wished Prince Andrew a happy birthday. Eugenie also went online to send her father her well wishes.
She posted several photos of the prince, including a throwback shot of Andrew with the Queen as a child, and an adorable image of her father walking her down the aisle at her 2018 nuptials.
“Happy Birthday to you Papa,” she captioned the snaps. “We are so proud of you in everything you have achieved in your 59 years!!”
