Zoe Michele, 30, reveals she was always extremely fit while growing up, but inexplicably started to gain weight throughout her 20s.

“It came to a head when, at 28, I mysteriously gained 25kg in a year,” Zoe says.

After many hospitals visits, Zoe received shocking results. She was diagnosed with a barrage of medical issues including an underactive thyroid, PCOS, focal nodular hyperplasia (a benign tumour of the liver), high blood pressure, fatty liver disease and Type 2 diabetes.

“All this before I’d even turned 30! I was stunned to say the least, and knew I had to make some drastic changes,” says Zoe.

Tipping the scales at nearly 100kg, she set out on a health kick and proudly reveals she’s lost 12kg over the past six months. “I’ve learnt some healthier eating habits and now regularly exercise, but I’d love to do this six-week challenge to get the expert health and guidance I need to reach my ultimate health goals,” Zoe says.

When Zoe told her mother Leonie, 58, and aunt Trudi, 55, about the challenge they were keen to join her.

“Mum’s always been healthy and active but noticed she started to put on weight a lot easier in her 50s, and Aunt Trudi is tired of feeling sluggish and would love to overhaul her diet and exercise routine,” says Zoe.

The trio are pumped to get started, and all agree it’s the perfect way to kickstart 2019.
