My dog Candy died of a heart attack in January. She was 13 and such a beautiful little dog who I loved so much. I miss her and hope she is OK. Her mum and two sisters are in heaven. I really want to know how she is.

Candy’s message to you is to continue to feel the grief you are going through and to be present with your sadness at this time. Don’t try to run away from the grief, but stay connected with it. In those emotions you are very much intertwined with Candy’s energy – and the depth of how much you miss Candy demonstrates how close the two of you were in life. You were soulmates – and you both are still connected between the two worlds.

You must still possess Candy’s collar and lead because she is aware of you looking at it and holding it at times to feel that special, loving connection with her once again.

Candy is safe now and shows she felt no pain at the time of her passing. She is pleased she made such a swift transition and has found peace on the other side – where one day you will be together once again.

Candy suggests you take that trip away and allow yourself to reconnect with the things you love. In those moments, Candy is delighted you are finding happiness once again, and she sends you all of her love to help you on your journey.
