GEORGIE PARKER (Roo) WITH MUM ROSIE
Georgie, what’s the most important life lesson your mother has taught you?
To embrace my enthusiasm for life, to ask questions, see the world, stand by my opinion and the causes I believe in – and don’t suffer fools and don’t forget to laugh.
How do you plan to celebrate Mother’s Day this year?
I’ll do my best to give my mum my socially-distant love and attention.
What’s your favourite Mother’s Day tradition?
Just to spend it together in some way.
Why is your mother an inspiration to you?
Mum has absolutely walked the talk. She still pursues education into her mid-80s – she has a real aptitude to apply herself to things she’s interested in, which makes her great company. She has a bold use of the English language and will often break into song. What can I say? She’s the best!
