ADELE’S SHOCK TRANSFORMATION ‘HOW I LOST 45KG’

-

After losing an incredible 45kg, Adele has stunned fans by posting a new photo of herself looking even more svelte than ever.

The glamorous shot, posted last week on her 32nd birthday, shows the transformed singer smiling widely for the camera as she stands framed by a large floral wreath.

Adele captioned the rare upload, “Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time.”

Within minutes the post was flooded with comments from celebrities and fans praising Adele for looking so good.

Adele first shared a glimpse of her weight-loss efforts last October when she posted a selfie captioned, “I used to cry but now I sweat”.

It was reported that she’d lost weight through exercise and a diet that was initially just 4184 kilojoules-a-day.

Nutritionist Kate L-waters tells New Idea that Adele had probably also included some form of fasting in her regime. “I suspect she has followed a form of caloric restriction such as 16:8 which means fasting for 16 hours and eating all her meals in an 8 hour window. She is radiating health.”

Her Pilates instructor, Camila Goodis said earlier this year that being strict about her eating was key to Adele’s weight loss, and that included giving up processed food, sugar and fizzy drinks.

“She changed her lifestyle, she changed her diet,” Camila told UK TV show, Lorraine.

In January, however, fans expressed concern that the singer may have gone overboard when pictures emerged of her looking gaunt while on holiday in the

Caribbean with Harry Styles.

But a fellow holiday-goer told People magazine that the single mum of Angelo, 7, appeared healthy.

“She seemed so happy, and she looked amazing,” the

19-year-old revealed.

Even Paul Hogan is being challenged during the coronavirus pandemic, as he takes shelter at his home in California. Thankfully, the 80-year-old Crocodile Dundee legend has family at hand to help him out.

New Idea has learned Paul is being lovingly looked after by his son Chance, 21, the youngest of his six children.

According to sources, aspiring musician Chance – whose mother is Paul’s ex-wife Linda Kozlowski – was so worried about his famous dad when news of coronavirus broke and has been doting on him ever since as they hunker down together during quarantine.

“Paul isn’t as sprightly as he used to be so he really depends on Chance to run errands and keep the house in shape,” an insider reveals. “He’s really stepped up to the plate and has been handling the shopping as well as chores and keeping his dad in good spirits.

He used to be a real wild child, but Chance has really grown up and he’s become his dad’s absolute rock.”

Six years ago it was revealed that Chance, then 15, had sparked fears for his mental health after posting disturbing images on social media.

Sources said he appeared obsessed with the devil and other dark lifestyle choices, which apparently included sharing photos of his own burn marks as well as various satanic symbols.

Concern about his behaviour grew after he was frequently spotted smoking on his parents’ balcony. He was also seen vomiting in the street outside a rock concert.

Our insider says, “Chance has done a lot of soul-searching over the years and anyone can tell he had some serious growing up to do.

“But now he’s gotten those demons out of his system and he’s a good kid.

“He’s got plenty going on for himself on the music front and a lot of good, clean-living friends in his life. But right now and more than anything else

he’s committed to caring for his dad.”

Photos also show the youngster heading out to buy beers for his famous father, who has largely stayed behind closed doors during the COVID-19 crisis.
