ELLEN EXPOSED: THE BOSS FROM HELL

-

She’s known as the warm and quirky talk-show host who has been a Hollywood staple for decades. But could Ellen Degeneres have a dark side?

In a shock exposé, the comedienne has been accused of being cold, mean and even having a nasty streak by former colleagues and staff.

Ellen’s ex-bodyguard Tom Majercak, who worked for the presenter and her wife Portia de Rossi in 2014, told Fox News she was “cold” and “kind of demeaning”.

“Ellen pretty much just gave me a side glance out of her eye and didn’t even say ‘hello,’ or ‘thank you for protecting my mother, my wife, and me’,” Tom said of the first time meeting the presenter.

“It was very cold and it was very sly and it was actually kind of demeaning in the way that she treats people other than those who are in her circle.”

Tom went public with his story after others shared their allegations of Ellen’s supposedly cloaked behaviour.

“Right now, we all need a little kindness. You know, like Ellen Degeneres always talks about! She’s also notoriously one of the meanest people alive,” tweeted comedian

Kevin T. Porter.

Various stories of Ellen’s alleged nastiness have come to light, signalling it could be the end of the chat-show host’s golden era.

“The funny, charming Ellen you see on the show is a total act,” a source tells In Touch.

“There are accounts of her being a horrible boss.”

The insider also says Ellen’s crew are “absolutely furious at her for leaving them in the dark about their jobs”, after the studio shut down in March.

While Jimmy Kimmel paid his staff from his own pocket, Ellen has left her crew without any assurances about their jobs.

“One guy on [her show] doesn’t know how he’s going to put food on the table for his family.”

A spokesperson for Warner Bros. Television released a statement saying: “Our executive producers and

Telepictures are committed to taking care of our staff and crew and have made decisions first and foremost with them in mind.”

And it’s not just her staff who have bones to pick with the blonde TV star, who had her own sitcom, Ellen, which ran from 1994 to 1998.

Former waitress named Chris Farah says the chat-show host was “cold, distant and awkward” when she served her at a restaurant. “A week later the manager calls me in and says ‘Ellen’s written and complained about your chipped nail polish’,” she said.

As public opinion begins to shift on Ellen, the insider says she wonders whether Ellen’s A-list pals, such as Jennifer Aniston, will stick by her.

“She’s always on with them so it’s doubtful they’d ever see Ellen at her worst. But I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them start distancing themselves from her,” the source warned.

Other celebrities that have noted her mean streak over the years include Kathy Griffin, who said previously: “I’m almost positive a certain beloved daytime talk-show host once had me kicked out of a backstage dressing room at the Emmy Awards.

“I can’t prove it, but this person, who has short blonde hair, has a mean streak that all of Hollywood knows about.”

Writer and comedian Benjamin Siemon also had several stories to share.

“She has a ‘sensitive nose’ so everyone must chew gum from a bowl outside her office before talking to her and if she thinks

ELLEN IS “NOTORIOUSLY ONE OF THE MEANEST PEOPLE ALIVE”

you smell that day you have to go home and shower,” Benjamin wrote.

Another added: “A new staff member was told ‘every day she picks someone different to really hate.

“It’s not your fault, just suck it up for the day and she’ll be mean to someone else the next day.’ They didn’t believe it but it ended up being entirely true.”

While she’s certainly still popular, could ‘mean’ Ellen finally feel the wrath of karma?
