TIGER WOODS IN HORROR CAR CRASH

Tiger Woods faces a long road to recovery after suffering severe injuries to both his legs in a horror car crash near the hilly Palos Verdes Peninsula in LA last week. The terrible accident saw him cut from the wreckage with an axe and a prying tool before he was immediately transported to Harbor-ucla Medical Center, where he underwent surgery.

The golfing legend’s car travelled “several hundred feet” across a highway divider before hitting a tree, rolling several times and coming to a stop on its side. Shock pictures from the crash site reveal the vehicle was severely damaged. Mystery still surrounds the circumstances behind the accident, and while there is no evidence to suggest he was impaired or intoxicated,

TMZ reported Tiger was seen leaving an LA hotel in an “agitated” state shortly before the accident occurred.

According to medical experts, the 45-year-old, who suffered “comminuted open fractures”, faces a long recovery.

The golf pro’s team have revealed Tiger is “awake, responsive and recovering in his hospital room” after a lengthy surgery.
