JOHN SELLS FAMILY MANSION

Seven months after he tragically lost his wife, Kelly Preston, to breast cancer, John Travolta is bidding farewell to a piece of their shared past. The Grease actor recently listed their 20-bedroom, eight-bathroom Maine estate with a $6 million price tag. The 1903-built mansion sits on 19 hectares of land and features a swimming pool, private dock and beach access.

Originally purchased by the couple in 1991, John and Kelly transformed it into a bright family holiday home ahead of the arrival of their firstborn son, Jett. In 2009, Jett died following a seizure. Sources say John’s decision to sell would undoubtedly be a result of the house holding painful memories for him, daughter Ella, 20, and son Benjamin, 10.
