LISA MARIE RETURNS TO SCIENTOLOGY
AFTER YEARS APART, THE CHURCH COULD BE SET TO LURE THE GRIEVING STAR BACK
Following the tragic death of her only son, Benjamin, Lisa Marie Presley has moved back in with his father, her first husband, Danny Keough.
And while those closest to Lisa Marie, 53, insist the move is a positive sign for the grief-stricken star, there are now concerns that the singer could slip back into the controversial Church of Scientology!
“Lisa and Danny are still in complete and utter shock, and leaning on each other like never before,” says a close friend of the pair, who also share their actress daughter Riley, 31.
“Danny was her big true love – they’re both completely traumatised and using everything to help, from meditation to walking and even Scientology practices to get through the pain and confusion,” adds the insider.
After Ben’s passing in July 2020, Lisa reportedly left her Calabasas family home and temporarily moved into the lavish Beverly Hills Hotel, where Danny joined her to mourn.
Now, the former couple, who were married from 1988 to 1994, are said to be permanently living together.
“Danny remains devoted to the church. Lisa may have defected when she quit back in 2014, but she left the door to go back slightly ajar.”
Throughout their six-year marriage, Danny and Lisa Marie were devoted to the headline-making church as was Lisa’s mother, Priscilla, who was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973.
With Danny, 56, back in Lisa’s life, sources say those closest to her hope things go only up for her.
“The truth is, she never really got over her dad’s death,” the source says, adding, “but now her focus is on Danny again, which will hopefully prove to be more of a positive thing than a negative situation.”
