OLD MEMORIES HAVE COME BACK TO HAUNT HER
New Hollywood insiders that Idea’s Julia reveal is “seeing red” Roberts after her exes Kiefer Sutherland and Jason Patric spilled the beans on their infamous love triangle!
“It was a time in her life she’s not exactly proud of and would rather forget, given that she didn’t end up with either of them,” reveals one close friend. “She considers it ancient history and thought Jason and Kiefer did too. Julia has three teenage children and they really didn’t need to hear about this.” Julia, 53, was all set to marry Kiefer on June 14, 1991. However, three days before the wedding she was caught out with his good friend Jason, with the pair soon running off to Ireland together.
“I lost my pick-up [truck] and my dog and my best friend, and I miss my best friend,” Kiefer said on the Inside of You podcast recently.
Julia and Jason, now 54, split within a year. And in the decades since, he and Kiefer, also 54, have mended their friendship.
“You fall in love, you fall in love,” Kiefer continued on the podcast. “There’s nothing you can do about that. She’s an extraordinary person, and he is too, and, you know, timing is what it is, and everyone moves on from that.”
