GROWING CLOSE AGAIN!

HOGES & LINDA IT’S JUST LIKE OLD TIMES FOR THE CROCODILE DUNDEE STARS

-

When Paul Hogan and his Crocodile Dundee on-screen love interest, Linda Kozlowski, ended their real-life marriage in 2013, his world fell apart.

At the time, Linda admitted to New Idea she was tired of being in her world-famous husband’s shadow. But now we can reveal the former couple has struck up a “renewed friendship” under a very strange set of circumstances.

Sources say Paul, 81, who made the best of his split from Linda, 63, for the sake of their son, Chance, despite his “considerable heartbreak”, is now on such good terms with his ex that they are said to see each other every second day.

Their renewed love for one another came after Paul had a brief, and thankfully unfounded, shock thinking she’d died.

“Bizarrely, an older woman with the same name as Linda’s came up in an obituary list and Paul started getting calls from friends wondering what had happened,” explains a source.

“It gave him a huge scare. Around the time, they had fallen into the habit of a brief wave if one of them was picking up Chance from the other’s house, a little more. But when Paul’s phone started ringing off the hook, he rushed to her house in a panic.

“Linda was shocked at how much he obviously still cares for her wellbeing … the man was ashen! But it wasn’t long before they were laughing together. It felt like old times.”

In an attempt to keep things as normal as possible for Chance, 22, Paul and Linda live within minutes of each other in LA.

Sources say that since lockdown, they’ve been at each other’s homes, forming a little family bubble with Chance.

Now, as Crocodile Dundee celebrates its 35th anniversary, insiders are keeping their fingers crossed for the pair to team up again in celebration.

“Paul retained all the rights to anything to do with the movie as part of their divorce,” says a source. “It effectively cut Linda from any celebrations or reboots in the future. But now they’ve reconnected, people hope all bets are off.”

Indeed, sources say it’s no coincidence that just as Paul and Linda reignited their friendship, he began floating the idea of another Crocodile Dundee movie.

“Having Chris Hemsworth as my son and Margot Robbie as my daughter was pretty cool,” Paul said. “But, if I have beautiful children like that, I should be on a stud farm, not making movies.”
