MEGHAN’S NEW BOMBSHELL INTERVIEW CONTROVERSY

She fired off accusation after accusation against the royal family during her and Prince Harry’s salacious TV sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in March, but Meghan Markle isn’t done talking.
Sources tell New Idea that the Duchess of Sussex, 39, plans on giving another tell-all interview, in which she’ll reveal intimate details about her life as a mother to her new daughter and adorable toddler, Archie. However, it won’t be all niceties...
“Meghan loves to drop a bombshell to ensure maximum press coverage and impact on the royals, as we know!” squeals one insider.
Indeed, New Idea hears Meghan might use the interview as an opportunity to slam her in-laws again. It comes after Prince Charles shared a picture on his grandson Archie’s recent second birthday of just him, Prince Harry and baby Archie. Meghan apparently took her exclusion from the post as a “deliberate dig” at her. “She’s telling friends that if Charles is going to erase her from the family photo album, she doesn’t mind officially declaring that her daughter won’t be royal at all!” explains the source. Following Archie’s birth, Meghan and Harry, 36, seemingly insisted they wanted their son, as well as any future children, to have a normal childhood, raised without all the pomp and ceremony that comes with being royal. To achieve this normalcy, the Sussexes reportedly asked the Queen to not bestow any titles upon Archie. However, Harry and Meghan later told Oprah this was not the case at all. If the interview does go ahead, it will be another bitter blow for Charles, who once shared a special bond with his daughter-in-law.
The Prince of Wales even stepped in and walked Meghan down the aisle at her wedding to Harry, when her own father, Thomas Markle, was forced to withdraw. Sadly, their relationship is now “nonexistent”, says the source.
“Charles still can’t get over Meghan accusing his family of racism and hasn’t yet found a way to figure out how he’s meant to have a meaningful relationship with Meghan, even though he knows he’s going to have to play nice to have access to his grandchildren.”
As it stands, Charles, 72, is reportedly heartbroken that he has become a distant grandfather to Harry’s child. He’s apparently only seen Archie twice since he was born in May 2019, and the reason Charles used a photo from Archie’s christening in his birthday post was because he doesn’t have any recent pictures of them together.
“Charles is desperate to have a meaningful relationship with Harry’s kids. He always
wanted a daughter, but things with Diana ended not long after Harry was born. He feels like Harry now having a girl is his second chance.”
Charles is even pleading with Harry to bring his baby girl home for her christening, and has promised to personally organise it as a symbol of a fresh start.
“He’s playing the Queen card,” says the source. “What I mean by that is he keeps saying how delighted his mother would be to meet her great-granddaughter and have her christened at Windsor Castle. Out of everyone, Harry seems to be on the best terms with his granny, and Charles is happy to call her in to get his family back together.”
