FINALLY, AN ANSWER REGARDING THE MONACO ROYAL’S WHEREABOUTS
For weeks, rumours of marital trouble between Monaco’s Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have been brewing, after she skipped several significant royal events.
But last week, the mystery behind Charlene’s absence was finally revealed – and thankfully there’s not a divorce paper in sight!
Charlene contracted an ear, nose and throat infection (ENT) in May, while in her homeland, South Africa, undertaking conservation work. The 43-year-old had “multiple, complicated procedures” for the illness and was advised by her medical team not to travel back to Monaco at this time.
The princess is missing her husband and their 6-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, terribly. She was ecstatic that the trio recently flew over to visit her as she convalesces.
“My daily conversations with Albert and my children help immensely to keep my spirits up, but I miss being with them,” Charlene said in a statement. “I can’t wait to be reunited with them.”
During the early noughties, Holly Valance was one of the biggest starlets in Aussie showbiz, thanks to her starring role on Neighbours and her foray into music with the release of the hit single ‘Kiss Kiss’. But in recent years, the British-based star has dropped off the radar, preferring to live a quiet life with her husband, property developer Nick Candy, and their girls, Luka, 7, and Nova, 3. In a rare sighting, Holly was spotted in London on June 25. She was dressed casually, wearing a pink jumper with ‘Love’ written on it, and jeans. Onlookers noted that the 38-yearold wasn’t wearing her 8-carat engagement ring or wedding band.
Holly admits that dealing with Nick’s busy professional life can sometimes be tricky.
“He worked on Christmas Day, and even the day we practised our vows with the priest he took a call in the middle of it,” she said. “So that’s who I married – I know that.”
