Wood, told fans Courtney felt “liberated” after reimagining her signature locks, with some fans even comparing the ‘Doll Parts’ singer to Julie Andrews! “You can see how liberated Courtney is in her new look – we wanted to create something versatile that can be styled in many ways, so [we] opted for a longer textured pixie,” Josh explained on Instagram.
Willie Garson, beloved for playing Carrie’s gay best friend Stanford Blatch in Sex and the City, tragically passed away at age 57 on September 21.
Co-star Cynthia Nixon led the tributes from Willie’s many celebrity friends, saying: “We all loved him and adored working with him. He was endlessly funny on-screen and in real life.”
Willie’s only son, Nathen, also remembered his “papa” as the “toughest and smartest” person he has ever known. Sources close to Willie revealed he had been privately battling pancreatic cancer.
Willie’s career began in the ’80s, when he played small roles in shows like Cheers and appeared in the Ted Bundy TV movie, The Deliberate Stranger.
He is set to reprise his role of Stanford in And Just Like That...,
the upcoming SATC
