The Today show has clawed back its audience, thanks to comeback kid, Karl Stefanovic, and his co-host, Allison Langdon! The breakfast show recently notched up its highestever viewership – 252,000 viewers across the five capital cities. While Sunrise is still in front with an average metro audience of 291,000, the gap is quickly closing. In reward for Karl and Ally’s efforts, the popular duo have been renewed for another year. It comes as Nine confirmed that they’ve extended Karl’s contract to a “longer-term deal”.
