LISA’S BOOK DESTINED FOR SCREEN!
Not since she sensationally quit Today in 2017 has Lisa Wilkinson attracted so much press – and one thing is certain: her book, It Wasn’t Meant To Go Like This, is set to be a hit! Now sources tell New Idea there are already whispers it could soon be turned into a TV series. “It’s exactly the sort of story the likes of Netflix would want to turn into something,” says a source, who notes even Network 10 might look at picking up the rights to bring Lisa’s words to life. It wouldn’t be the first time either. Leslie Carpenter, a character in the ABC miniseries Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo, was said to have been inspired by Lisa’s magazine career.
