FURY OVER THE CROWN EPISODE!
Season 5 of The Crown is set to dedicate an entire episode to the late Princess Diana’s infamous Panorama interview with Martin Bashir – despite Prince William’s demands that the interview never be aired again. Netflix reportedly spent millions recreating the bombshell interview in which Diana detailed troubles in her marriage to Prince Charles.
“The Crown’s creators see the interview as the keystone moment in Season 5,” insiders told The Sun. “To the writers, the stormy marriage between Charles and Di led up to her outpouring on Panorama, and the aftermath of that decision defined her final months.”
The decision will no doubt anger William, who spoke out about the interview in May, after a report found Martin lied and used “deceitful” methods to coerce Diana into providing the interview.
