FIRST LOOK AT MELISSA CADDICK TV SHOW!

IT WAS THE CRIME THAT HAD AUSTRALIA HOOKED

-

The high-profile disappearance of Sydney con artist Melissa Caddick in 2020 gripped the nation. And now, her story is set to hit TV screens in Nine’s upcoming drama Underbelly: Vanishing Act.

Recently, Kate Atkinson was seen filming in Sydney’s Dover Heights – the same affluent neighbourhood the real Caddick lived in.

The Wentworth actress, 49, who has been cast in the lead role, appeared to be in good spirits as she filmed with co-star Colin Friels. At this stage it is unknown who Colin, 69, is playing in the series.

Caddick is presumed dead, after her foot and shoe were found washed up on a beach south of Sydney in February.

Given that Caddick’s ultimate fate – and what happened to her in her final moments – is still a huge mystery, New Idea hears that they are filming multiple endings to the series.
