SOPHIE AT BREAKING POINT!
WITH THE QUEEN’S AILING HEALTH, THE COUNTESS IS FEELING THE STRESS
There’s no denying that it has been a tough 12 months for the royal family, with Prince Philip’s death, Harry and Meghan’s bombshell tell-all interview and Prince Andrew’s court case.
But now, with the Queen’s ailing health added to that list, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, is beginning to feel the strain.
Earlier this month, the royal was pictured looking tense while out and about in Chelsea, London. She looked smart in a red coat paired with tan trousers and boots.
“At one point during the outing, Sophie appeared to be particularly upset, wiping away what may have been a tear from her eye,” said an onlooker.
“As one of the Queen’s closest confidantes, it would come as no surprise that she is particularly worried about her latest health woes.”
It comes after Sophie revealed to the BBC that Philip’s death in April hit her family particularly hard.
The 56-year-old said that the loss “left a giantsized hole in our lives” and admitted that the grieving process has been more difficult amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
