KEANU WONDERS WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN!
Twenty-seven years after filming the cult classic, Speed, Keanu Reeves admits he had a crush on his co-star, Sandra Bullock. But the actor, who also teamed up with Sandy in The Lake House, was convinced she had no interest in him, so he never made his intentions known.
Now, Sandra says the pair obviously got their wires crossed, because she was interested and thought it was him who wasn’t interested in her.
A close friend of Keanu’s says it’s ironic that two people can be attracted to each other, but still read each other wrong.
“You have to wonder how many times in life that happens, where crossed wires mean lost love,” says the source, who adds that Keanu told them that if he’d known Sandra fancied him, he would have pursued things.
Today, neither Keanu, 57, nor Sandra is married, but Keanu’s been in a two-year relationship with artist Alexandra Grant, while Sandra is happily involved with Bryan Randall.
“In the future, if Keanu and Sandra ever end up being single again at the same time, one of them ought to pick up the phone and call the other,” says the source. “Because two ships that once passed in the night, could finally end up in the same port!”
