ADELE UNDER FIRE! ‘OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN’

A WEB OF COMPLICATIONS HAVE CAST DOUBT OVER HER CANCELLED SHOWS

-

In an emotional social media video, Adele tearfully cancelled her Las Vegas residency shows just days before they were due to begin, citing COVID-HIT staff and “delivery delays” for the postponement.

But, those claims have been rubbished by sceptics, who believe COVID may not be the only reason behind the adjournment.

According to sources, Caesars Palace wanted the “perfectionist” to perform her hit ‘Skyfall’ with a 60-member choir at their venue. This is said to have earned the ire of Adele, 33, who’d envisioned a “lowkey” performance that was “all about the voice”.

There are also reports of a fallout between Adele and A-list set designer, Esmeralda Devlin.

British newspaper The Sun claims Adele took issue with a water-filled pool she was meant to stand in and perform. She allegedly refused after describing the final design as an “old pond”.

Meanwhile, there’s also whispers Adele’s notorious nerves played a part in the last-minute cancellation.

The star has previously admitted to suffering pre-stage jitters, like vomiting – and once even “escaped out the fire exit” before a performance!

While Adele is known for being nothing short of hilarious and relatable, fans slammed her eleventh hour noshow, taking to social media to share details of their lost travel costs.

“Her lack of notice is astounding. I’m angry and frustrated,” a fan vented on Twitter, while others complained about the financial burden.

“I’ve already spent $1200 between airfare, hotel and the concert tickets,” added another.

Celebrities flooded social media with tributes to Meat Loaf after he passed away on January 20, aged 74. Cher led the well-deserved gushing, recalling that they had “so much fun” working together on their 1981 duet, ‘Dead Ringer for Love’.

Boy George also shared a memorable moment, recounting how Meat Loaf, “once turned me upside down in a Chinese restaurant in St John’s Wood!”

Meat Loaf’s Rocky Horror Picture Show co-star Susan Sarandon added in a statement: “Big man, big voice, big heart. In my experience, always a gentleman.”

Meat Loaf’s career spanned six decades and saw him sell over 100 million albums worldwide and star in more than 65 movies. His album, Bat Out of Hell, remains one of the top-10 bestselling albums of all time.

He died in hospital with his wife, Deborah Gillespie, by his side. The singer also had two daughters. At press time his cause of death was not made public, but it’s believed he had recently been diagnosed with COVID.
