SAM SLAMMED FOR MOCKING HOME AND AWAY
Sam Frost appeared to publicly ridicule Home and Away just weeks after she left the long-running series amid contentious circumstances. The reality star-turned-actress reposted a satirical article from
The Betoota Advocate, which featured the headline: “Home And Away Writer Fired For Not Reaching One Car Crash Scene Per Season Quota.” In addition to sharing the spoof article with her 580,000 Instagram followers, Sam commented on the original post, replying: “And if possible, an explosion,” along with two laughing emojis. It’s a move that raised eyebrows among loyal Home and Away fans, especially given they defended Sam when her initial casting sparked controversy.
Last October, Sam, 32, filmed an emotional video about her intention to remain unvaccinated, despite Channel 7 mandating vaccines for all their employees.
The video received huge public backlash, and culminated with the announcement that Sam would not be returning to the show.
