The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might have a swanky city pad at Kensington Palace and a posh manor on the Queen’s Sandringham estate, but the young family are yearning for life in suburbia.

UK reports suggest Wills, Kate and their three kids could soon move into Fort Belvedere, an historic pile within Windsor Great Parks, where they’ll be close to the Queen at Windsor Castle. “Wills and Kate are refreshingly normal – they don’t care about a glamorous London life, they just want to be close to family,” says a source. “A move to Windsor means they can be close to the Queen and Kate’s family in Bucklebury, but close enough for the commute to London. It makes sense to them, even if it doesn’t to their society friends.”
