Tame, “ungracious, rude and childish” in his column for The Australian, due to her highly publicised, awkward encounter with Scott Morrison at the Australian of the Year morning tea for this year’s finalists. After Peter’s column was published, Lisa posted a lengthy tribute to Grace on Instagram, writing: “Thank you Grace. Thank you for always speaking your truth. Thank you for never wavering from your passionate fight for justice for survivors of sexual assault.” The post followed a particularly heated episode of The Project, which also saw Carrie Bickmore fighting back after Peter called Grace “immature” during a lively debate. He’s since expressed regrets for criticising Grace, but insiders say he’s still very much “ruffled a few too many feathers”.
