FIFI BOX GETS CROWNED!

Melbourne’s 2022 Moomba Festival has officially kicked off. Leading the celebrations are 9 News anchor Peter Hitchener and radio host Fifi Box, who were last week unveiled as this year’s Moomba Monarchs! The event, which is Australia’s largest free community festival, will be returning to Melbourne from March 11 to 14 with its iconic Birdman Rally, parade and water sports competition.

“I’m absolutely honoured to be asked to be a Moomba Monarch,” gushed Fifi. “Moomba is such an iconic Melbourne event … I’m incredibly proud,” she shared. Meanwhile, Peter revealed the opportunity allowed him to “really connect with the greater community”.
