HER SON, NAVARONE, WEDS IN SWITZERLAND
Since Elvis Presley died, his ex-wife, Priscilla, has felt more than her fair share of heartache. But the 76-year-old had plenty of reasons to celebrate last weekend when her son, Navarone Garibaldi, tied the knot!
After four years of dating, Navarone, 34, wed his girlfriend, Elisa Achilli, at the Schloss Hünigen Hotel in Konolfingen, Switzerland.
Elisa, 22, stunned in a lacy long-sleeved dress.
She paired it beautifully with a dramatic floor-length veil.
“I couldn’t be happier!” Priscilla wrote on Instagram following the ceremony, which saw some guests watching over video link.
Priscilla shares Navarone with her ex-husband, Marco Garibaldi. While Navarone is close to his mother, he remains estranged from his half-sister, Lisa Marie Presley.
“Lisa wasn’t invited to Navarone and Elisa’s wedding since they haven’t been on good terms for a while. It makes things a little tricky for Priscilla, being caught in the middle,” says a source. “But Priscilla thinks the world of Navarone, and is happy he’s found the one.
“She’s met Elisa several times and thinks they’re perfect together, but has cautioned them not to rush into starting a family.
“Priscilla married Elvis when she was the same age as Elisa and had Lisa Marie not too long after, so she’d know!”
New Idea understands the newlyweds will live in LA, where Navarone is frontman of synth rock band, Them Guns.
