ROMANCE RIDDLE: KEEPING UP WITH KIM & THE KOMEDIAN

-

She’s all Beverly Hills; he just moved to Brooklyn. She loves having weddings; he loves playing the field. On paper, the oddball romance of Kim Kardashian and Saturday Night Live funny guy Pete Davidson seems like a misprint. But four months after meeting when she hosted SNL, the soon-to-be ex Mrs Kanye West and the marijuana-loving comedian with Borderline Personality Disorder shows no signs of slowing down.

So is their relationship the real deal or just an elongated

SNL skit? Let’s just agree that it’s every bit as real as her television show, her bum and her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. It’s real to Kimmy. And after years of making other people happy, the 41-year-old mum of four claims it’s her turn for happiness. And Pete, 28, by all accounts makes her very, very happy.

Now, Pete might seem like a bit of a nerdy guy with issues, but the dude is a celebrity chick magnet: Ariana Grande wanted to marry him after three weeks of dating. Kate Beckinsale seemed oblivious to their 20year age gap. And supermodel Cindy Crawford was relieved when Pete’s trip to rehab abruptly ended his three-month fling with her daughter, Kaia Gerber.

Rumour has it (and Instagram verified by Ariana!) that in addition to his wicked grin and cheeky wit, Pete’s endowed with considerable charm in the trouser department. Is this another reason Kim can’t seem to wipe the smile from her face?

While Kim isn’t backing down when it comes to finalising her divorce, Kanye seems to be trying to win Kim back. And true to style, the rapper is using social media and the press to badmouth Pete while begging Kim to reconsider for the sake of the kids. Hey Ye, have you ever thought of picking up the phone and calling instead? Just an idea...

Bottom line: Kim deserves fun! And after seven long years of married life to Kanye, would you honestly begrudge the girl a rebound romance and a giggle?
