SAD SPLIT AFTER 41 YEARS

Mamma Mia! After 41 years, ABBA’S Björn Ulvaeus and his wife Lena Kallersjö announced last week their marriage had reached a natural end.

Björn’s bandmates, Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson all suffered public ill-fated relationships, but it was Björn who had a lasting, albeit second, marriage – until now.

Thankfully, Björn, 76, and Lena, 73, who share daughters Emma and Anna, confirmed they remain good friends and dedicated grandparents.

“After many fine and eventful years, we have decided to divorce,” they said in a joint statement. “We remain close … and will continue to celebrate our grandchildren’s birthdays and other family celebrations together.”

Lena and Björn began dating in the late ’70s after his marriage to ABBA vocalist Agnetha fell apart.
