FAMILY COMES FIRST FOR THE HITMAKER
Weeks after Delta Goodrem and her long-term partner, guitarist Matthew Copley, were spotted looking tense, the lovebirds appear to have come full circle!
The couple were recently snapped in Sydney enjoying each other’s company, along with Delta’s mother Lea, who appeared in high spirits as she tagged along during the outing.
While Delta and Matt have no doubt had their ups and downs, it seems Lea is a strong support for the ‘Born to Try’ singer, who’s preparing for her national tour alongside her boyfriend.
“My mum and I have always been incredibly close. When you see us together in a room, there is no denying that we are mother and daughter,” Delta previously shared of her special bond.
“Mum epitomises the word mother. Protective, loyal and fierce by nature, she has been by my side through it all. My mum is incredibly vibrant and unique, and she has always driven me to be the woman
I am today,” she added.
Delta and Matt reportedly met in 2017, but have remained tight-lipped about their romance, except to recently confirm she is happy and that she “respects” Matt deeply.

“I’m freaking out!” one fan commented on the official Wiggles Instagram page.
After being approached for comment, a spokesperson for the Aussie children’s band clarified that it was a “technical error” – and within hours Lachy, 36, and Anthony, 58, had followed one another again.
The social media scare comes after a recent period of upheaval for The Wiggles. In October last year, Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins left legions of young fans heartbroken after announcing her decision to leave the group. The band has since been in a rebuilding phase following the addition of several new band members.
