• Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker or Cricut Joy

• Cricut Design application

• Standard Grip Machine Mat – 12” x 12”

• Standard Grip Vinyl Transfer Tape – 12” x 48”

• Weeder

• Scraper

MATERIALS

• Water bottle (we used Oasis 350ml bottle in black and pink)

INSTRUCTIONS

1Go to Cricut Design Space and open canvas. Image search #MF727557 (for mermaid tail image) and #M10791FF8* (for deer). For this project, resize image mermaid tail 3.105 x 5cm and deer head to 3.041 x 5cm. We used rose gold circle mosaic vinyl for mermaid tail and silver square mosaic vinyl for deer head.

2 Select correct machine from the drop down, click make it, continue.

3 Select mosaic permanent vinyl from the material selection.

4 Place vinyl on cutting mat, prompt to cut images from the vinyl.

5 Remove the unneeded pieces of vinyl using a Weeder Tool. It is usually easiest to move from the inside out when weeding.

6 Use Transfer Tape and your Scraper Tool to apply the vinyl cuts to your water bottle. Make sure surfaces you plan to adhere to are clean and dry.
