WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO COOK EGGS IN THE MICROWAVE SO THEY’RE SIMILAR TO POACHED EGGS?

A Break an egg into a well-greased, microwave-safe cup. Pierce yolk a couple of times with a toothpick or skewer. Cover with damp, absorbent kitchen paper. Microwave on Low (30 per cent) for about 1½ to 2 minutes (we used a 1200-watt microwave) or until cooked to your liking. Remove. Stand in a cup for 1 minute before serving, as the egg will continue to cook.
