QUEEN’S MEETING WITH JUSTIN TRUDEAU
He has a reputation for being one of the most handsome politicians in the world, and it seems even the queen was taken by Justin Trudeau’s charm.
The 95-year-old monarch was pictured beaming as she shook hands with the Canadian prime minister during a meeting last week. It was her first in-person meeting since being diagnosed with COVID-19 last month and she appeared to be in good spirits, with the pair sharing a joke.
“I have had the privilege of knowing Her Majesty for about 45 years now, and I can tell you that in my meeting with her this morning, she was as insightful and perspicacious as ever,” Justin said of their meeting.
The prime minister is in the UK for talks on the war in Ukraine. The Queen even made a subtle show of support for the country by opting for a blue and yellow floral arrangement, which represents the colours of the nation’s flag.
