PROUD BINDI CELEBRATES
BABY GRACE TURNS 1
Bindi Irwin threw a very special party at Australia Zoo to celebrate her daughter Grace’s first birthday. Ahead of the milestone, Bindi took to Instagram to generously invite fans to celebrate with her adorable tot, who she shares with husband Chandler Powell.
Bindi, 23, and her mother, Terri, revealed the zoo would have free cupcakes and a fun new playground, ‘Camp Grace’, in honour of the family’s littlest Wildlife Warrior.
Also in town to celebrate were Chandler’s Florida-based parents, Chris and Shannan Powell. It was the first time they’d met Grace in person, following her birth on March 25 last year. Bindi shared a video of them all enjoying a family day at the beach on Instagram.
“At nearly 1, Grace has reached that stage where she’s crawling like it’s an Olympic sport and almost walking,” proud Bindi said recently.
She added that motherhood has changed her, and hopes her daughter will grow up to forge her own path in life.
