Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s rekindled romance is still going from strength to strength, as the couple have reportedly dropped $67 million on a new mega mansion to call home.
The couple is said to be over the moon with their grand estate, which lies almost directly across the street from the main entrance to the hoitytoity Bel-air Country Club. With 10 bedrooms, there’s plenty of space for J.lo’s twins and Ben’s three kids.
However, insiders reveal the actor’s ex-wife, actress Jennifer Garner, is less than impressed.
The main issue Jen has with the lavish purchase is the fact that she fears it’s going to cause issues with their three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina,
13, and Samuel, 10, who have primarily lived with her – until now.
“She’s going to have a hard time competing with a palatial mansion,” says a source. “The kids are old enough that Jen wants them to make their own choices, not swayed by luxury.”
Prior to the purchase, Ben and Jen’s older two children weren’t fond of being around their busy dad, but with a huge new home to play in, that could be about to change.
“It’s looking more and more likely that Jen is going to have to grit her teeth and bear it, but she’s far from happy.”
