TROUBLE IN PARADISE

THE COUPLE FAIL TO SELL THEIR LAVISH HOLIDAY HOME

-

Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic’s beachside dream has turned into a nightmare after the couple’s Queensland holiday home failed to sell at an auction that was expected to rake in millions.

The couple originally bought the Noosa home for $3.6 million in January 2020. It’s believed they ploughed over $1 million into renovations.

The five-bedroom Europeanstyle home, dubbed Villa Isabelle, features a pool, modern kitchen and even a wine cellar.

Despite the luxe trimmings, Karl, 47, and Jasmine, 38, only used the home a handful of times, thanks to strict COVID border restrictions and Karl’s work commitments in Sydney.

As a result, the Today host and his shoe designer wife opted to rent out the luxury pad to holidaymakers for up to $3,800 a night. In February, Karl confirmed they had decided to list the beach palace.

Real estate experts predicted they could net as much as $7.5 million, but no buyers secured the property following an auction last week.
