This special coastal region of NSW might be one of the most underrated in the whole country, stretching from Wollongong in the north, all the way to the Victorian border in the south. Encompassing the regions of Shoalhaven and the Sapphire Coast, the South Coast of NSW offers beautiful, quiet beaches, impressive national parks, delicious food and drinks, and up-close whale sightings. Spend your weekend hopping your way through the many sleepy beach towns – some of our favourites are Kiama, Merimbula, Eden and Batemans Bay. You can try some of the freshest locally caught seafood you can find, swim in the turquoise ocean and explore the wilderness of the surrounding bushland that’s right on your doorstep. It’s just an incredible place, with so much more to see and do than you might expect.
