WILL MIKE MUNRO BE HER FIRST GUEST?
Buzz is building as to who Mel’s first guest might be – and our source wonders if it might be the show’s former host himself, legendary newsman Mike Munro!
“Mike’s family story reads like a Hollywood blockbuster, so it would make for cracking TV,” says the insider. “The issue with Mike, and plenty of other colourful Aussie characters, is they have to be prepared for warts and all – and not some sugar-coated fluff!”
Other names rumoured include cricketing great Mark ‘Tubby’ Taylor, Denise Drysdale and actor Michael Caton.
“They need to get the mix right – and Mike as the opening act is a safe move,” adds the source.
