DIRTY DANCING SEQUEL NEW DETAILS!

Kellerman fans rejoice! In Jennifer’s latest interview with People magazine, she hinted that a long-awaited sequel to the 1987 film is in the works – and she’s heavily involved in the project. “We’ve been working on it for a couple of years,” Jennifer revealed.

But don’t expect the new film to be a carbon copy of the original. Instead, Jennifer hints what they’ve set out to do is recapture the spirit of the original.

“[Dirty Dancing] was lightning in a bottle,” Jennifer reflects. “And I know in my heart, I would love to give fans or a young, new audience an experience that would never replicate that, but has the same kind of underpinnings.”
