MEET THE REAL TOP DOG

New York businesswoman Leona Helmsley was nicknamed the ‘Queen of Mean’ because of her miserly behaviour, however she proved to be anything but when it came to looking after her dog. When she died in 2007, leaving behind a $7 billion fortune, Leona also left instructions that a $17 million trust fund be bequeathed to her fluffy white Maltese terrier named Trouble (pictured left with Leona). But the money proved to be just that because the trust was slashed back to $3 million when a court found it to be excessive. Trouble died four years later, still with plenty left in his trust fund!
