LOYAL TO THE END

During his too-short life, Andrew commanded loyalty from all those around him. But without question, his two most faithful mates were his devoted blue heelers, Woody and Buzz.

According to reports following the fatal accident, Woody and Buzz refused to leave their owner’s side.

“One of them was very sensitive,” a witness said at the scene. “He would just growl every time we tried to move him or go near him.”

And as the world continues to mourn another cricketing great’s tragic passing, there’s some comfort in knowing both Woody and Buzz are in the care of his loving family who promise to always look after his special canine mates.

Andrew’s children Chloe and Billy, with wife Laura, were his pride and joy.
