1973 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1

-

Originally introduced by Ford in ’68 as a package for the ’69 model year, the Mach 1 title adorned performance-oriented Mustang offerings until the original retirement of the moniker in 1978. The MPC ’73 Mustang Customizing Kit lets you build your own as a stock Mach 1, into a street machine of the era, or even as a Grand-am racer. Choose from two tyre options, three intake systems, and a full roll cage, all ready to whack in alongside the optional window louvres and hood scoop. But, most important, you’re able to select between two complete engines — a stock 5.7-litre 351 Cleveland and the coveted 429ci (7.0-litre). This model has been given the full retro deluxe treatment too, with the vintage packaging, expanded decal graphics, and a bonus mini box. You don’t need to be a whizz to assemble it, although it pays to have a steady hand, as painting and cementing are required.
