2011 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS
Based on the Holden-developed GM Zeta platform, the fifth-generation Camaro was a modern take on an old classic, if you will. Designed by South Korean-born Sangyup Lee, it was released after several years on hiatus, since the previous generation’s production ended in 2002, and drastically changed the dated body styling. The sharp roofline, wide hips, and aggressive square bodylines were reminiscent of the first generations, and quickly became a hit. An interesting note about the 2011 model year was that due to the 2011 Fukushima earthquake, certain pigment colors were not available to make certain colours. This AMT 1/25 scale model is moulded in three colours — garnet red body, dark grey chassis, and black interior — plus clear and chrome, with a highly detailed interior and chassis. No paint or glue is required.
