1970 ½ CHEVROLET CAMARO Z/28

-

Introduced in February 1970, the second-generation Camaro was produced through to the 1981 model year. The car was heavily restyled and became somewhat larger and wider with the new styling. The 1970 ½ is generally regarded as the most desirable of the early second-generation Camaros, since the performance of following years was reduced by the automobile emissions control systems of the period, and later the addition of heavy federally mandated bumpers. For the Z/28 Special Performance Package, a new high-performance 5.7-litre LT-1 V8 was offered, built from the ground up using premium parts and components — and considered to be a much better performer than the previous 4.9-litre variant. This AMT 1/25 scale model is all stock, featuring rally wheels, bucket seats, stripe decals (in two colours), a separate subframe, and extensive detailing throughout. The complete model has more than 100 individual parts!
