Jaguar has res­ur­rected a hand­ful of iconic clas­sics, in­clud­ing the XKSS and D-type; Land Rover stepped up the mark and gave the De­fender a new lease of life; and now, Fiat Chrysler Au­to­mo­biles (FCA) is fol­low­ing suit with its Reloaded by Cre­ators scheme. The FCA’S her­itage depart­ment are pur­chas­ing clas­sic Alfa Romeos, Abarths, Fi­ats, and Lan­cias and restor­ing them back to their orig­i­nal, for­mer glory be­fore sell­ing them on.

To date, the FCA scheme has al­ready seen re­stored to per­fec­tion such mod­els as a 1989 Alfa Romeo SZ V6 built by Za­gato, a 1981 Fiat Spi­der Europa, a 1973 Lan­cia Ful­via Coupe Monte Carlo built to cel­e­brate the mar­que’s 1972 Monte Carlo Rally win, and a Pin­in­fa­rina-penned 1959 Lan­cia Ap­pia Coupe.
