August 11 Track Experience 2018

Got a road or race car with a WOF or log book? Want to see how it goes on the track? Want to be shown how by experienced drivers? Always wanted to try motorsport without the stress? Always wanted to experience this as safely as possible? Need to preseason test your race car? Always wanted to have heaps of track time for $120 per driver? If you answer ‘yes’ to at least one of these questions then check arocnz.org.nz for how to go about fulfilling those desires at Bruce Mclaren Motorsport Park, Taupo on Saturday August 11, 2018. The track day at Bruce Mclaren Motorsport Park, Taupo is organized by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, Bay of Plenty, to appeal to all drivers: from those new to the track wanting to see how their car performs to experienced racers. All you need is a New Zealand driver’s licence and car with a WOF (road) or logbook (race). A fun, non-competitive day sanctioned by Motorsport New Zealand (MSNZ) with sessions segregated by road or race car type and driver experience. Driver training is available from experienced male and female race drivers. Numbers are limited to allow plenty of track time. All makes are welcome at the organizer’s discretion, and there will be an optional day’s end dinner. A great way to test your car and yourself for $120 per driver. More details, including protective clothing regulations and entry forms, can be found at arocnz.org.nz, or contact trackday@arocnz.org.nz or 027 2216926.
