ROLLS-ROYCE CULLINAN
The largest diamond ever found was the Cullinan, discovered in South Africa in 1905, one year after Rolls and Royce founded their car company. Today, the Rolls-royce company has chosen to name its big, fast, and heavy SUV after that diamond — an apt decision.
Rolls-royce has made large, luxurious cars for 116 years now, but, until the Cullinan, the company had never made anything that drove the front wheels as well as the rear. The generous body proportions ensure that those fortunate enough to be inside have an absolutely luxurious vantage from which to observe their surroundings wherever they may be.

Those front wheels really do drive as well as the rear too. The massive 7.75-litre twin-turbo V12 drives all the wheels through the very clever systems that make sure that the wheels are in contact with the ground with all the correct inputs to the suspension system to ensure absurdly comfortable ride conditions and maximum grip at the same time. The car can haul itself around on uneven ground as well as it can handle itself on the highway. If necessary, it will speed along the highway at 250kph before knuckling down to cross the river, up to half a metre deep, before effortlessly climbing into the hills until you’re at that favourite picnic spot. At that point, you can fold down the picnic table and make use of the two rear-facing leather seats to enjoy the view.
