A SHARED MEMORY
Ijust want to congratulate you on such an excellent magazine, and find I have to say what a great article on WD Gavin [Issue No. 343]. Being Scottish myself and having raced karts at both Charterhall (old airfield) and Ingliston (agricultural showground) in Scotland, where Jim Clark raced in his early
days, I must admit there was a tear in my eyes as I read Bill Gavin’s memories of that fateful day in April ’68 … keep up the great magazine.
Andy Gray, Tauranga Michael Clark’s words left many of us feeling that way, Andy. Best not miss the second episode, on more of Bill’s amazing life, in this issue.
